Welcome back to the seventh episode of our podcast series where we interview some interesting Information Technology type people in South Africa. This week’s guest is Mike Hawthorne.
Mike is the Head Group Technology Operations at Standard Bank Group. Basically he runs the Infrastructure and Service Delivery for Standard Bank across South Africa and the African continent.
What’s fascinating about Mike is not only that he has a really big and impactful job, but that he is an excellent triathlete as well. In this podcast he shares a bit about his job and also how one can apply the lessons from sport, adventurers and the military to one's daily job.
I hope you enjoy this latest installment of our podcast series.
